How do I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment in several ways.  You can call us on 08 93041550  or email us to request an appointment. If emailing please advise us of the treatment you would like and the date and time which is most suitable for you. If you have a preferred Stylist or Therapist, please include their name in your email. If possible, when emailing us please provide a contact telephone number so that we can contact you to discuss your appointment.  We would appreciate it if you could give us as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment.

Can I book group appointments?

Group bookings are most welcome. However, we will require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. We also kindly request 7 days notice should you need to cancel the booking or the deposit will be non-refundable.

Do I need any tests before coming for treatments?

Some treatments require a patch test to be carried out at least 48 hours prior to treatment.  You will be notified of this at the time of requesting an appointment.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

If you are coming to Fake Bake Hair and Beauty Boutique for a spray tan treatment, we would ask you to bring loose, dark clothing to wear when you leave the Boutique. We will provide you with disposable underwear to wear during the treatment but you may wish to bring your own underwear which is perfectly acceptable. If you are coming into the Boutique for a pedicure or a file and polish on the toes, please bring flip- flops or any open-toed footwear to put on when you leave, as your nail polish may take some time to dry properly and this will avoid smudging.

When should I arrive at the Boutique for my appointment?

If you are coming to the Boutique for the first time we would ask you to arrive about ten minutes before your appointment to give you time to complete your consultation card. This will also give you the opportunity to have complimentary refreshment prior to receiving your treatment.

What happens when I arrive at the Boutique?

When you arrive at the Boutique our friendly staff will greet you and you will be offered complimentary refreshment. If you are coming into the Boutique for the first time for hair or beauty treatments we will ask you to fill in a consultation card the content of which will help us to tailor your treatment to meet your needs.

Can all treatments be carried out regardless of previous or current health issues?

Your consultation card includes a small health questionnaire. We will go through this to make sure that there is nothing which would prohibit us from carrying out your treatment.  It is quite rare that treatments cannot go ahead due to health issues.  However, in the event that we cannot proceed with your treatment due to health problems, your Hairdresser or Beauty Therapist will discuss this with you in private.

What do I need to do to get ready for my treatment? Will I need to be fully undressed?

What you wear during your treatment will be dependent on the type of treatment you receive.  If you are having intimate waxing you will need to get naked from the waist down to get a perfect result.  However, if you are not comfortable with this we will provide you with a paper g-string although your treatment may take longer. If you are having an intimate wax treatment the hair should be no shorter than a grain of rice.  However, the longer the hair, the more uncomfortable it will be, so you can trim the hair before your appointment or we’ll do it for you.

Your Therapist will always fully explain what you need to do before leaving the room to allow you to prepare for your treatment.  She will do her best to ensure you feel comfortable and will always respect your dignity.  All treatment times include dressing and undressing time.

What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

Should you need to cancel your appointment we kindly request 48 hours notice or we retain the right to charge you the full cost of your treatment.  However, any charges  may be waived if you reschedule your appointment within 4 weeks of cancellation.
